I began my art journey as a young girl in Pittsburgh, PA who loved to water color my own thank you cards and play piano at the Carnegie Melon School of Music. At a young age I have been pushed to create, with no parameters, and also exposed to many different forms art. While being involved in the Carnegie Melon School of Music, at the age of 5, I was surrounded by genius creators who were well educated and appreciated the arts. These people were my teachers, coaching me on how to develop my own mind, make mistakes, perform, work hard, and understand the freedom to create.

Once I attended the University, I explored the city of Boulder and stumbled upon a thrift store that was selling film cameras. I decided to buy it and just simply ~see what will happen~. After sharing my photos with friends and family and hearing such a positive response, I decided to create a social media account named TIME FLIES so I could share my photos with them more easily. After more exposure and practice, I fell in love with photography, but more specifically film photography. This became one of the first art mediums that I really succeeded in. Photography is what inspired me to explore other mediums of art.

Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, as everyone did, I started to feel intensely bored. With the need to stimulate and inspire my brain,  I decided to create an art studio in my garage. In my art studio I mainly focused on painting and drawing, which was fairly new to me in this kind of studio setting. Day after day, during quarantine, I would go into my art studio, blast music, and just make whatever I wanted to. For the first time I had full freedom and no fear of failure. By all means, none of the artwork I made I would consider to be "good", but I was able to inspire myself enough to want to actually study Art.

This is when I decided to study Art Practices at the University to see if I can make anything of myself in the art world and maximize my potential. Now, as a current student in the art school, I find myself drawn towards painting, drawing, and digital art classes. These are the kinds of mediums I have and will continue to study, along with what I will be showcasing on my portfolio website you are looking at now!
